AppVisit facilitates e-visit technology using video, photographs, screen tracing and questionnaires which securely gather accurate data on their patients’ conditions. Unlike live video, AppVisit’s message-type dialogue (asynchronous) does not require the patient and doctor to schedule a time to meet.

While the national average duration of an in-office visit is 14 minutes, doctors have found that most AppVisits take less than three minutes. Moreover, by using AppVisit in conjunction with drchrono, providers can deliver care whenever and wherever is convenient, and the new partnership makes patient record access easy. AppVisit’s patient-generated documentation is HIPAA secure and placed into drchrono with one touch, thus reducing the clerical burden for doctor and office staff alike.
