Acer Liquid Leap+ hitting Europe later this month

Acer Liquid Leap+

Acer unveiled an updated version of its Liquid Leap fitness band at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The device will sing along all three popular platforms, including Android, iOS and Windows, while a slightly different band design will better fit the curvature of the wrist. A number of personalization options comes included as well.

The Leap+ rocks a 1-inch OLED touchscreen that can deliver a handful of notifications — including email, calendar and SMS — and allow users to control their music from their wrist.

The device will track user’s steps, distance, and calories, and because of its IPX7-rating, it will work even under water.

Acer plans to start selling the Liquid Leap+ in Europe for €79 starting in March. The Leap Manager app is already for download through the Google Play Store, Apple’s App Store, and Windows Store.
