Fitbit has used CES to unveil new partners for its Works With Fitbit initiative. Notably, three new partners have been added to the program, including…
Habit – which will use the Fitbit data to create food recommendations and nutritional plans through the personalized nutrition service. The service will rely on metrics such as weight, body fat percentage and calories burned to create specially tailored meal plans.
Peloton – maker of stationary bikes that also offers live streaming classes, will let Fitbit users track their progress on the bike with their wearable, including a full post-workout break-down.
Ditto for VirZOOM – another indoor bike training company but the one that uses virtual reality to deliver a more immersive experience. The data Ditto collects — including distance pedaled, workout time and calories burned — will find their way to the Fitbit platform and count towards your fitness goals.
In the past year, Fitbit has added a skill for Amazon Echo and an NBA 2K17 partnership that offers in-game bonuses for those who hit their goals.
