Mount Sinai taps Kyruus for provider data management, patient-provider matching

Mount Sinai Health System has selected Kyruus' ProviderMatch for Access Centers and KyruusOne provider data management solutions for its Physician Access Services team. Detailed provider profiles, user-friendly Smart Search capabilities, and real-time scheduling will help the team enhance access to Mount Sinai providers and refer patients to the most clinically appropriate providers for their needs.

Mount Sinai selected Kyruus based on its ability to aggregate a vast amount of provider data and generate detailed provider profiles, while also enabling search by real-time availability. The team will also use ProviderMatch's integrated patient interaction management solution to track patient calls and referral outcomes for ongoing service optimization.

"Helping patients find the best providers for their needs while delivering an outstanding access experience is our top priority," Dr. Abraham Warshaw, SVP, Chief & Medical Director of Access Services, said in a statement. "Kyruus' taxonomy helps agents see what our providers do at a uniquely detailed level so they can match patients optimally, while the ProviderMatch search engine streamlines the referral process."

Kyruus' CEO Graham Gardner is also pleased with the deal, saying that they are "proud to offer Mount Sinai's Access Services team a solution to that challenge, so they can efficiently and effectively identify the right providers for their patients."

Mount Sinai's Physician Access Services team handles appointment referrals for nearly 700 providers, making it essential for agents to have visibility into providers' areas of clinical focus as well as the ability to search across the provider base efficiently.
