Valencell scores 8 new patents from USPTO

Biometric data sensor technology vendor Valencell has been granted an additional eight patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The new patents cover monitoring and tracking of biometrics across a variety of form-factors, such as earbuds, wristbands, armbands, and jewelry, bringing the company’s total number of granted patents to more than 20, with dozens of additional patents pending.

“These new patents support our PerformTek biometric sensor technology’s ability to accurately track and measure a host of biometric data on anyone, doing anything, anywhere on the body,” said Dr. Steven LeBoeuf, president of Valencell.
