Google Now is a popular personal assistant service that comes preloaded with most Android-based smartphones and tablets. The service allows users to stay on top of “what’s happening in our day and in the world,” and get things done quickly — the Google Now cards proactively bring users information at the right time without they even having to ask.
The search giant has been working with 70 new partners to bring even more Now cards from some of the most popular apps.
In addition to latest news, weather forecast, sport scores, users can access other information right from the Google app. Health-wise, here are the apps that got their Google Now cards:
- Adidas – Manage your fitness with helpful reminders based on your workout history.
- Azumio – Get reminders to sleep based on your goals.
- Glow – Enables women to track their cycle with helpful reminders.
- HealthifyMe – Get reminders to work out if you track your workouts on HealthifyMe.
- Jawbone – Be notified of your step count.
- komoot – Get recommended bike rides based on your komoot history.
- Lifesum – Get snack suggestions based on your remaining calories on Lifesum.
- RunKeeper – Get reminders to workout based on your caloric intake.
- Runtastic – Know when you need to catch up on sleep based on recent sleeping behavior.
- Sleep as Android – See suggested wake up times based on recent sleeping behavior.
- Strava – Track your weekly goals with progress updates.
- Walgreens – Get your Walgreens rewards card on your phone right as you check out.
The new Now cards are available with the latest version of the Google app and other favorite apps that integrate with Google Now.
The Mountain View-based company said this is just the start with more Google Now integrations coming later this year.
