Beddit launches new Android app, improved SleepScore

Beddit SleepScore

Beddit has launched a new Android app that works with its Beddit Smart and Beddit Classic sleep tracking systems. The updated application features a more intuitive SleepScore that rates sleep quality on a 100-point scale, making it easier to see and understand how well you slept.

Beddit analyzes the data to provide an easy to understand scientific score to help people understand their sleep. Also, the system provides insight and trend analysis to further the understanding and deliver coaching tips based on overall sleep history, not just one night. The app also standardizes the Beddit design across mobile OS platforms so those moving between iOS and Android devices have the same experience regardless of device.

Beddit adds brains to any bed by connecting Android and iOS devices with an ultra-thin sensor over Bluetooth. The sensor lies under the bed sheet, so there is nothing to wear. Beddit’s sensors track heart rate, respiration, movement, snoring and sleep cycles, and in the morning – the companion app delivers the personalized SleepScore to indicate overall sleep quality.

From Black Friday to Cyber Monday, the Beddit Classic sleep tracker will be available for $79 (a $119 value).“A great day starts with a good night’s sleep, and the first step in improving sleep is understanding it. The new Beddit for Android app is even better at helping people understand their sleep patterns,” said Lasse Leppäkorpi, CEO of Beddit.

From Black Friday to Cyber Monday, the Beddit Classic sleep tracker will be available for $79 (a $119 value). A bundle of Beddit Classic and the NightCare No-Snore Pillow — the only FDA-cleared pillow designed to help reduce snoring and mild sleep apnea — will sell for $99. Beddit Smart is $149.95, and can be found at Amazon, Apple Stores, apple.com, Brookstone.com, Bed Bath and Beyond, beddit.com or MyNightCare.com.
