DispatchHealth launches an iPhone app

DispatchHealth for iPhone

Just in time for the holiday season, DispatchHealth is launching an iPhone app to make it easier for patients to access acute care in their homes, offices or in the location of need.

“The DispatchHealth medical team have all worked in emergency rooms over the holidays, and while there is a need for those facilities to provide emergency care to patients who require it, ERs also see a wide range of situations that could be treated at home,” said Dr. Mark Prather, CEO, DispatchHealth.

Located in downtown Denver, DispatchHealth is open regular hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) everyday, including holidays. The company is contracted with all major payers in Colorado and bills insurance directly for the care provided. Those currently without insurance will see a flat rate of $195 for their complete onsite care.

Dispatch Health delivers care through multiple channels, including local municipalities and 911-first response systems, health systems, employers and payers, and senior care facilities. They recently announced partnerships with Christian Living Communities, a Colorado-based senior facility portfolio, and Centura Health, the area’s largest healthcare network.

An Android app is planned to follow by the end of the year. Also in 2016, DispatchHealth will be expanding into next markets.
