Samsung Gear Sport

We have already talked about the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro; now we have it right from the horse’s mouth in the form of the official announcement that also talks about two other products – Gear Sport and Gear IconX.

Let’s briefly look at all three devices, shall we?

Samsung Gear Sport

This is a unisex smartwatch — comes in just one size of 42mm and one size band at 20mm width — designed exclusively for sport, swimming included.

Specs include:

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro

We have already talked about this product, but let’s repeat the key specs:

In order to make the device appealing to the wider audience, Samsung has partnered with a few companies for enhanced user experience. For instance, Spotify allows users to save up to 500 songs for offline listening, while Under Armour provides 1-year premium subscription for UA Record for free. Plus for swimming workouts, there’s the app from Speedo.

Samsung Gear IconX (2018)

Last, but not the least, is the updated (second) version of the Gear IconX (2018) cord-free earbuds, offering up to 5 hours of Bluetooth streaming music (7 hours when in standalone mode) or 4 hours of talk time.

Rest of the specs include:

The IconX (2018) also supports Samsung’s mobile assistant, Bixby. In addition, the Korean giant touts fast charging capabilities of the IconX, with just 10 minutes of charging providing enough juice for the earbuds to last for 1 hour of exercises.

All three products will be available this fall, with Gear Fit 2 Pro selling for $199. Prices of two other devices have not been announced.
