Validic raises additional $5 million for its health device connection platform

Validic

Validic is one of those companies you hear about but never really see it in real-world products. That’s because their main goal is to ensure that all those different health devices sing along various services, with their technology working in the background.

The company’s customers include providers, payers, pharmaceutical companies, wellness companies and health IT vendors, all of which need to be able to engage and monitor covered lives through connected health devices as part of their population health efforts.

Validic says it has been taking on new customers, while expanding its platform to customers in the United Kingdom, Australia, Portugal, Brazil and South Africa. To support this growth, it has just closed a $5 million Series A investment round, co-led by Greycroft Partners and SJF Ventures, bringing the total venture funding to $7.1 million.

The company is based in Mountain View, California, and Durham, North Carolina.
