Mobile Health Engagement Strategies (MHES) has secured an investment from Atlanta-based Fulcrum Equity Partners, which closed on June 2. The new financing will enable MHES to expand its current operating infrastructure and establish other key business relationships necessary to fulfill existing and future client obligations.
Formed in 2014, MHES is the parent company of NSITE and Remedium, which operate as distinct business units. NSITE provides a scalable and therapeutic-category diverse mobile solution that creates unique educational media channels designed to engage and retain an ongoing connection for clients with targeted healthcare providers (HCPs). On the other hand, Remedium focuses on payor and provider organizations, using the same mobile platform to communicate with members to improve health outcomes and manage medical spend.
“With an emphasis on active involvement and shared accountability, our solution gives healthcare providers, patients, payors and pharmaceutical manufacturers the ability to communicate and evaluate medical information on their terms and in formats that appeal to them,” said Kurt Janson, Chief Business Officer at MHES. “Our proprietary programs provide direct connections with targeted audiences and are capable of being tactically integrated into our clients’ existing communications plans, marketing initiatives and educational activities.”
Financial terms of the transaction were not revealed.
