Together+Clinic raises $500K in its seed round

Together Clinic has closed an oversubscribed seed round of $500,000, led by physician investors who “share the vision of revolutionizing the continuum of care.”

The company makes a solution that allows physicians to quickly review patient conditions, and follow-up accordingly before more expensive intervention is needed.

“Physician investors are critical to the success of Together Clinic,” says Dr. Ryan Whitney, one of co-founders. “They are essentially product ambassadors that hold the key to patient and hospital relationships. Since our product is free, we believe healthcare professionals and organizations will embrace our platform to drastically lower the cost of treating chronic medical conditions, which accounts for the vast majority of health care spending.”

In the past six months, Together Clinic has invested resources into refining its algorithm and expanding its mobile functionality. The company has also partnered with a resource for development to increase the power of its data capture and reporting platform.

Though initially focused on heart health, the Together Clinic app is being developed to offer additional modules such as those for COPD, hypertension, diabetes and more. The company plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate growth through physician-led implementation, and build out its sales and marketing teams as the product continues to evolve.
