ePatientFinder secures $2.58M Series A round

ePatientFinder

ePatientFinder has raised a total of $2.58 million in Series A equity financing through Parsons & Whittemore, alongside a group of angel investors. The company provides a platform that connects its pharmaceutical, medical device and Contract Research Organization (CRO) clients with a network of clinics, hospitals and ACOs for the purpose of identifying and enrolling patients in clinical trials.

The funds will go towards the expansion of the provider network, life-science client network, provider engagement teams and patient engagement teams, as well as working capital and general corporate purposes.

ePatientFinder prides itself as the only platform that empowers physicians to connect their patients to potentially life-changing clinical trial opportunities. Physicians are notified when a new trial becomes available in their area; the platform uses sophisticated algorithms and a three-tier filtering process to help physicians identify potential participants. The company is the first community of physicians dedicated to providing patients with access to advanced treatments that are only available through clinical trials. The platform benefits trial sponsors by detecting qualified clinical trial participants and facilitating their enrollment.
