Cardiopulmonary Corp. (CPC) is merging with Nuvon to create a market leading platform that provides enterprise wide, real-time data management solutions to enable clinical insight for better patient care and support of critical healthcare workflows. Also, the combined company will combine Nuvon’s Medical Device Integration (MDI) solution with CPC’s Bernoulli platform that supports advanced Alarm Management, Continuous Patient Monitoring/Surveillance and Virtual ICU applications. Both companies have developed complimentary solutions in the area of predictive analytics for patient care that improve outcomes, enhance safety and reduce cost.

Each company’s Board of Directors has approved the terms of the proposed transaction, which is expected to close in the next 60 days. Terms of the merger were not disclosed.
