PatientSafe Solutions acquires Vree Health from Merck

Vree Health

PatientSafe Solutions has acquired all assets of Merck-owned Vree Health, which provides service-enabled care coordination technology designed to influence positive behavioral change and enhance the patient experience. The deal expands PatientSafe’s existing offerings, bringing healthcare providers an end-to-end mobile care network to ensure patient safety at all points of care.

Vree Health’s patient engagement and care management platform helps coordinate care across providers.“Our vision at PatientSafe has always been to serve the patient during all transitions of care, from the hospital all the way to the home – it’s something we call H3, hospital-to-home-to-human,” says Joe Condurso, President and CEO of PatientSafe Solutions. “With Vree’s technology and patient care services combined with PatientSafe’s mobile clinical portfolio, we are confident our customers will be able to bridge this gap in care delivery.”

Vree Health’s patient engagement and care management platform helps coordinate care across providers; it also aggregates, analyzes, and utilizes disparate data sources, to help patients and their families actively manage care. These services will complement PatientSafe’s mobile, intelligent workflow solutions, enabling coordinated care collaboration directly with patients and their families post-discharge, through cloud-based services and dedicated health coaches.

Terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
