Huron Consulting Group has acquired Denver, Colorado-based MyRounding, a developer of digital health solutions to improve patient care. As part of the deal, MyRounding’s executives Tony Gorski (CEO) and David Marshall (COO) will join Huron as managing directors.

“The combined firms are better positioned to support the growing needs of our hospital and health system clients as they seek to improve the patient experience,” Gordon Mountford, executive vice president, Huron Healthcare, said in a statement. “The addition of MyRounding creates a platform for our clients focused on helping them improve patient safety, patient satisfaction, and clinical quality.”

MyRounding’s app is designed to standardize, automate and track rounding activity, allowing nurses and staff to improve the care and experience of patients in real time.

For reporting purposes, MyRounding will be included in the Huron Healthcare segment. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
