Bridge Connector, which offers data-driven workflow automation to solve health IT interoperability challenges, is teaming-up with Skedulo, a mobile workforce management platform that enables deskless workforce productivity. The partnership integrates Skedulo’s intelligent health care scheduling engine with leading electronic health record (EHR) solutions, as well as other health care technologies through Bridge Connector’s library of connectors.
The resulting automated processes will connect disparate data systems with bi-directional information sharing so that health care providers have seamless access to all necessary patient data. Consolidating data access to a single software interface improves efficiency, enhances patient and provider experience, and boosts the overall quality of patient care.
“Bridge Connector and Skedulo share the same guiding principles of applying imaginative technology solutions to improve the flow of information in health care. By leveraging our network of connectors that enable us to deliver connected systems more rapidly, Skedulo is able to extend their powerful workforce management capabilities to more health care customers,” Brian Cappy, Bridge Connector executive vice president of sales, said in a statement. “Bridge Connector believes that predictable, repeatable integration should be attainable for any organization, including companies like Skedulo that are looking to improve health care delivery and outcomes.”
Skedulo’s scheduling engine and HIPAA-compliant mobile app secure and simplify complex health care schedules for organizations large and small. For example, by taking important factors into account such as provider qualifications, experience and appointment location, Skedulo automatically matches the right caregivers to the right patients, clustering nearby visits to reduce travel time.
Bridge Connector utilizes its integration platform as a service, Destinations, to connect the Skedulo platform with EHRs and a variety of other platforms used across the health care landscape. With these integrations, Skedulo’s customers can work within a single environment to book patient appointments, develop care plans, access health demographics data and more, helping to automate labor intensive processes to enable more efficient care delivery and an improved patient experience.
“The future of health care is deskless where care professionals can deliver their services directly with patients when service matters most,” added Lisa Giacinti, head of health care strategy and partnerships at Skedulo. “Integrations are essential in today’s sophisticated health care technology ecosystem, and there’s no company more capable of addressing these integration challenges than Bridge Connector.”
