Verily Health pulls in NVIDIA and CU Healthcare Innovation Fund in extended fundraising round

NVIDIA doesn’t back many healthcare software companies. So when it does, it’s worth paying attention. Verily Health has announced that NVIDIA is joining its investor base as part of an extension of its March 2026 fundraising round, with existing investor CU Healthcare Innovation Fund II also adding to its position. Other current backers include Alphabet, Series X Capital, and UCHealth.

What the money is for

The fresh capital supports two main products. The Verily Pre Platform helps healthcare organizations get their data AI-ready and deploy models responsibly across research and clinical settings. Verily Me is the company’s patient engagement tool, designed to support individuals across their care journey. Both are at the center of Verily’s push to make health data more useful at scale.

The NVIDIA relationship goes deeper than a check

This isn’t a cold investment. Verily and NVIDIA announced a technical collaboration back in October 2025. Researchers on the Verily Pre Platform can access NVIDIA AI libraries and frameworks, including NeMo, Parabricks, and RAPIDS, as well as NVIDIA B200 GPUs. The two companies also built Forecast 1.0, a foundation model that combines genomic and EHR data to improve long-term health risk prediction. Using the NVIDIA AI stack, the model showed gains in both predictive accuracy and computational efficiency.

Why this matters clinically

Foundation models that integrate genomics with real-world EHR data are still rare. Most risk prediction tools rely on one or the other. Verily is betting that combining both, at scale, produces meaningfully better predictions for individual patients. If that holds up in practice, it could shift how health systems approach preventive care and population health programs. The NVIDIA investment suggests there’s industrial-scale confidence in that direction. But the real test is whether health systems can operationalize these tools inside the clinical workflows that already exist, not just in research settings.
