MapMyFitness working with Coca-Cola on its Take It To The Park program

As part of its U.S. challenge dubbed “Take It To The Park,” Coca-Cola has teamed-up with MapMyFitness to inspire as many as 3 million people to have fun and get active in parks, on beaches, in gyms and recreation centers all around the country.

Coca-Cola is also inviting folks to vote for their favorite park but it starts with getting active. Turn your favorite fitness activities into votes for national, state and local parks this summer by checking in on Foursquare, OR, for more points, logging your daily activities on MapMyFitness.

The park with the most votes will win a $100,000 recreation grant from Coca-Cola and the title of “America’s Favorite Park.” Second- and third-place parks will win $50,000 and $25,000 grants, respectively. Finally, another $15,000 grant will be awarded, at random, to a lucky park that comes in 4th to 25th on the leader board.
