Moves activity tracking app for iPhone is now in version 2.0. The most notable change included in this release is the support for Apple’s M7 motion coprocessor which was introduced with the iPhone 5s. This in turn enables increased tracking accuracy and a new battery saving mode for an increase of up to 40% in battery life.
In addition, Moves 2.0 for iPhone also got a new design to make it look like a “real” iOS 7 app; and support for new languages, including Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, Korean, Spanish and French.
The core of the app remains unchanged, and will automatically recognize walking, cycling and running, while tracking steps, time and distance travelled, as well as routes taken. Users can get daily and weekly notifications that tell them just how active they have been.
Moves 2.0 is available for an introductory price of $1.99 until the end of November, and $2.99 afterwards. Existing Moves users will be able to update free of charge.
