Razer is delaying the release of its Nabu smartband until it gets certification that the device is hypoallergenic. According to the company, this move was made to avoid the skin irritation problems that caused Fitbit to recall their Force band.
The Nabu was originally supposed to be released at the end of March, but alas – customers will have to wait a little longer to get their units.
While any delay is annoying, we can understand Razer for taking this route. Recalls are costly and at this point, the company would have hard time affording such actions.
