AirStrip is teaming up with PeriGen to incorporate their tools into its interoperable enterprise mobility system. As part of the deal, PeriGen will bring enhanced context and decision support capabilities to the AirStrip ONE solution to augment near real-time mobile data exchange in hospital labor and delivery departments.
OB clinicians will benefit from the delivery of higher quality care while having the ability to better mitigate the risks associated with childbirth.“This collaboration supports AirStrip’s development of a comprehensive maternal-fetal mobility solution that monitors high-risk pregnancies from any location when medically necessary, from the home to the hospital to aftercare,” said AirStrip CEO Alan Portela. “OB clinicians will benefit from the delivery of higher quality care while having the ability to better mitigate the risks associated with childbirth. This enriched care coordination can also help hospitals realize potential savings through the reduced length of inpatient stays.”
The AirStrip/PeriGen agreement is the latest in a series of business development and partnership announcements from AirStrip this year to further strengthen the company’s comprehensive solutions. Previous deals were made with Texas Health Resources, RegionalCare, MedStar Health and most recently, Sense4Baby.
