LG has teamed-up with RunKeeper to launch the LG Lifeband 5K Challenge. Those who sign-up to participate will “earn” one month free of RunKeeper Elite just for tracking an activity of at least a 5K distance. The contest is now open and will last until June 18th.

If you’re interested to log your running, cycling and talking activities – you can join the contest from here. Aside from a single month of Elite subscription, you can also win LG Lifebands. A total of 10 of these devices will be handed out to lucky users.

Unfortunately though, this challenge is limited to U.S. residents only.

Also as part of the marketing tie-in, LG is offering six months of RunKeeper Elite to everyone buying the Lifeband.
