Another day, another smart band maker fighting for its place under the Sun. Like many similar products, the company behind this band bracelet is turning to Kickstarter to crowdfund its idea.
Dubbed as a piece of jewelry, elemoon allows users to track their fitness activities, and get notifications beamed to their wrist. The name of the wearable is elemoon and it looks like no other fitness band out there. This, the authors suggest, is primarily a piece of jewelry; it does come with high-tech components that should allow users to track their fitness activities, as well as to get notifications beamed from a smartphone to their wrist. Add touch interface and differently colored LED lights to the mix, and you get an “elegant accessory that syncs with you.”
There are 75 brilliant LEDs included in this bracelet, enabling different patterns to match any outfit’s colors and design. Moreover, users get to customize alerts for their favorite contacts, while also benefiting from the ever-convenient “find my phone” feature.
Going forward, the elemoon team is looking to create an entire jewelry line, including necklaces, earrings and cufflinks. For the time being, they are focused on the bracelet which is raising funds at Kickstarter as we speak. A single unit goes for $199 and the delivery date is set for February of next year, just in time for the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
