Lenovo to unveil its activity tracker next month?

Lenovo may be the latest company to join the wearables revolution and unveil its activity (and sleep) tracker at the upcoming IFA conference in Berlin, Germany. At that time, the Chinese giant may announced the Lenovo Smartband, which has already cleared Bluetooth SIG’s certification process.

According to Liliputing’s report, Lenovo’s device will include an optical heart rate monitor and Bluetooth 4.0 support for synchronizing with compatible smartphones. Pedometer functionality will be there as well, and we expect a dedicated app to analyze the data tracked by the Smartband.

Meanwhile, Lenovo is also working on a smart glass product, though we yet have to hear when such device will be unveiled. Perhaps we get some answers in Berlin, or perhaps we’ll end-up waiting for next year’s CES in Las Vegas. We’ll see…
