Cue has raised $7.5 million in a Series A round of funding led by SherpaVentures. Immortalana, an early angel investor in the company, will also participate in the round. In addition, Cue also announced two new members of its Board of Directors: Shervin Pishevar, Managing Director at SherpaVentures; and Robin Farias-Eisner MD PhD, Professor at UCLA Medical School and partner in Immortalana.
Cue enables consumers to connect to their wellness at the molecular level, allowing for a deeper level of health tracking. By simply adding saliva, a blood droplet, or nasal swab, users are able to measure 5 key wellness and lifestyle indicators: inflammation, vitamin D, fertility, influenza, and testosterone.
Interactive charts from the accompanying mobile app make it easy to discover new trends, monitor progress, and share it with the people who matter the most. Cue also features Life Feed that visualizes the daily effect of activity, food and sleep on a molecular level, and overall wellness. What’s more, the app makes research-based recommendations for foods and activities, and alerts users when things change so they can achieve meaningful improvements on a daily basis.
