Glow has teamed-up with Walgreens drugstore chain to allow women to easily refill their birth control prescription from within the app and pick up the drugs at a nearby Walgreens or Duane Reade. Available on both iOS and Android apps, the new feature also enables users to keep on top of their medication so that they stay healthier.
“Integrating Walgreens API technology will make it easier for women to manage their reproductive health and family planning,” said Jennifer Tye, Glow’s VP of partnerships and marketing. “The Glow App empowers users to take control of their reproductive health, and we’re excited to give Glow users simplified access to managing their birth control within the app. We believe that women should have access to information and insights about their bodies and their health, in every phase of their life.”
The San Francisco-based company makes digital health tools for women that go from avoiding pregnancy to trying to conceive, as well as guiding women through pregnancy.
