Misfit Flash Link

Maker of the Shine and Flash wearables, Misfit, unveiled a new app, Misfit Link, and super-affordable fitness tracker – Misfit Flash Link.

Available as a free download, the Misfit Link app allows Flash and Flash Link band owners to take a selfie with their phone camera app or Snapchat, control their music, or advance slides in a presentation. The application, which is currently available for iPhone users and will get its Android counterpart soon, will also be updated with additional features, including support for IFTTT and Logitech Harmony.

As for the Misfit Flash Link, it’s an easy to use activity tracker and smart button, with a suggested retail price of $19.99, making it the “lowest-priced multifunctional and modular wearable product on the market,” according to Misfit. The device is available now on misfit.com and also comes with a companion clip that allows it to be worn anywhere. Later this quarter, it will hit retail locations worldwide.

Beyond the new app and fitness tracker, the company also slashed the prices of its existing products, Shine and Flash, which are now selling for $69.99 and $29.99, respectively.
