Misfit Flash Cyclist Edition will track your bike rides for $50

Misfit Flash Cyclist

After launching a special version of its activity tracker for swimmers — in partnership with Speedo — Misfit unveiled another sport-specific device, this time designed for the two-wheeler lovers.

Called Flash Cyclist Edition, the device is basically the Misfit Flash with all of the same activity and sleep tracking features, but with added cadence sensor to make it more bike-friendly.

Using the same clip holder that comes with the Flash Link, the Cyclist Edition should be worn on your shoes and works with the most popular cycling apps such as Strava, MapMyRide, Wahoo, and iBiker. Moreover, there’s also the new Misfit Cyclist app for Android and iOS that collects data on RPMs, distance and speed, while harnessing the phone’s GPS to store riding routes.

Other than that, we’re talking about the same Misfit Flash — it’s water resistant up to 30 meters and is powered by a coin cell battery that should last for at least six months. In addition, it delivers other features like letting you snap a selfie, control music playback and turn your lights off.

The Flash Cyclist Edition is available now from the Misfit website for $50.
