Alzheimer’s Disease is a very specific condition and those suffering from it need a special treatment. The newly unveiled Mysotis Health Watch has most of the features you would expect from a modern smart watch with custom software that acts like the memory box to help the patient, caregivers and family members.
The watch, however, is just one piece of the puzzle. There’s also the Mysotis platform which is used to setup a treatment plan for Alzheimer’s patients, as well as to alert caregivers and family members when a significant change in the health pattern of the patient has been spotted. The platform features a dashboard that can be used by the caregiver to monitor the state of, and send reminders to the patient. Also, the Mysotis platform can be connected to other solutions through an API.
The final piece of the puzzle is the Mysotis mobile app that transfers the information collected by the watch to the Mysotis platform. It is said to feature an “easy navigation” and can be set to the needs of the family.
Mysotis turned to Indiegogo to fund its project, but it has since pulled the page from the [crowdfunding] website. The project was looking to raise $100,000 and never came close to that goal.
