Smart thermometer is not the only device Withings had to show us at CES; the company has also unveiled a fancy lookin’ activity and sleep tracker, called Go, that comes with a 1.1″ circular E Ink screen.

The device, according to Withings, will automatically recognize a number of activities, so all you have to do is wear it throughout the day and let it do the math in the background. The Go will pick up the number of steps, distance covered, calories burned as well as the duration of a, say, running session. It is also water-resistant (5 ATM) and will do the same when you start swimming.

Then at night, Go will distinguish between light and deep sleep cycles, and beam all the information collected to the Withings Health Mate app on an iOS or Android device.

Said E Ink display will show your activity level as a dial depicting the percentage of progress achieved toward a specific day’s activity goal. It will also show time with an analog watch face, and all this will work without charging for up to 8 months.

Withings Go also doubles as a watch, and can work without charging for up to 8 months.“Withings prides itself in developing products that are both functional and elegantly designed,” Amélie Caudron, Product Manager of Withings Go, said in a statement. “E Ink products gave us exactly that – a display technology that enhances rather than constrains the design.”

The Withings Go will be available later this quarter for $69. Other Withings’ wrist-worn activity trackers include Activité, Activité Pop and Activité Steel smart watches.
