Virgin Pulse launches and Apple Watch app

Virgin Pulse launched an app for Apple Watch, which delivers a “fully integrated and highly personalized user experience” that goes beyond the basic step counting. With the app, users are encouraged and reminded to monitor and take action on their personal health habits by walking/running and sleeping more, while also being advised to eat better.

The Virgin Pulse app leverages many of Apple Watch’s core capabilities to drive engagement and deliver a meaningful user experience. Its key features include Healthy Habit Notifications with actionable and right-on-time reminders, Friends Leaderboard, and Program Progress from where users can monitor their personal progress in the Virgin Pulse program, including points and rewards earnings, at a glance.

All information captured with the Apple Watch app is automatically synced with Virgin Pulse, making it easy for employees to interact with the program and track their progress throughout the day.
