StayWell, Mytonomy partner to improve patient education

Mytonomy

StayWell and Mytonomy are teaming-up to improve the way doctors share information with patients. Under the deal, StayWell’s more than 24,000 patient education resources will be combined with Mytonomy’s Patient Experience Cloud to facilitate the sharing and utilization of a robust collection — including video, audio and written materials — from one of the nation’s largest patient education providers. In addition, the two companies will co-market their respective patient education solutions, creating broader access to valuable information that can improve care delivery and patient outcomes.

StayWell solutions support greater interoperability for hospitals and health systems, and align with changing reporting requirements. Mytonomy’s Patient Experience Cloud deepens the value of patient education by helping hospitals and providers deliver a five-star, high-tech and high-touch patient experience.

“Our collaboration with Mytonomy will allow us to connect the dots between our powerful StayWell content and our customer’s most important drivers,” Nicole Latimer, CEO of StayWell, said in a statement. “In short, we will know who’s engaging with what content and be able to track their behaviors and the impact across the care continuum.”

Hospitals and health systems will benefit from StayWell’s collaboration with Mytonomy thanks to improved utilization tracking for patient education materials. Also, the two parties expect health systems to reduce “no shows” and “cancellations” based on improved patient education and experience, as well as higher patient engagement levels.

“Our combined Mytonomy and StayWell offering enables systems to drive a significantly better patient experience while providing the right education at the right time for all patients. Health systems that are using our platform find that typically over 70 percent of their patients are using the Mytonomy system across all demographics,” said Anjali Kataria, CEO of Mytonomy. “More patients are arriving on time, are less anxious about their procedures, and their patient satisfaction scores are soaring. In an IRB approved clinical research study, patient satisfaction scores went up to over 95 percent, and the baseline was 70 percent.”
