Xiaomi is joining the smart toothbrush market with the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush, which can send up to 31,000 vibrations per minute to your teeth, in order to provide a powerful cleaning procedure. The device also has DuPont StaClean high-quality bristles and a waterproof body with IPX7 ratings, which (obviously) makes it safe to use under the sink.
Connecting to a nearby smartphone, the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush supports personalized brushing modes that can be customized through a companion app. Inside, it packs a 700 mAh rechargeable battery that provides enough power for up to 18 days when used twice a day.
Like many other Xiaomi products, this one will also start selling in China and eventually be available in other parts of the world. Meanwhile, those living in China will be able to grab the Mi Ultrasonic Toothbrush starting July 18 for 199 Yuan, which is about $29. We expect it to hit exporter sites soon afterwards.
In recent years, Xiaomi has launched a number of connected health products, including an air purifier, smart shoes that track your runs, a connected scale, a wireless blood pressure monitor, and most notably — fitness trackers (Mi Band 1 and 2) which is/are one of the best selling products in their category.
