Health o meter nuyu branded products unveiled at CES

nuyu Sleep System

Health o meter nuyu branded products have been unveiled at CES to help users lead healthier lives. The offering includes the nuyu Sleep System, an activity monitor, downloadable coaching plans, and a wireless scale.

The first of the pack is apparently a “first-of-its-kind temperature regulating device” and monitoring application, made to make us feel “a little hotter between the sheets” — with the option to cool down.

Unlike other apps that simply monitor and report on user’s sleep, the Health o meter nuyu Sleep System works with the body’s natural circadian rhythm to help users go to sleep faster, stay asleep and wake more refreshed. Using patented temperature cycle technology, the device automatically heats and cools the bed to the ideal sleep temperature, which is based on a proprietary algorithm that factors in multiple aspects like age, height, weight and ambient room temperature. The adjustments are then communicated via Bluetooth technology to the nuyu app, helping to monitor, track and adjust the temperature.

“Proper body temperature regulation can help people sleep better, helping them to maintain a healthier lifestyle,” said Mike Fretwell, vice president of marketing for Health o meter nuyu.

The nuyu Sleep System is touted as a “first-of-its-kind temperature regulating device” and monitoring application. The system includes a torso sized mattress pad measuring 36″ by 24″ that is placed on the mattress, underneath the fitted sheet. The hot or cold temperature, ranging from 69 to 105 degrees, is circulated throughout the pad and controlled by the whisper-quiet unit placed at the base of the bed. The Health o meter nuyu Sleep System will retail for $499.99, hitting the market at the end of the summer.

Then there’s the mentioned Activity Monitor which tracks steps, calories, distance and sleep. The waterproof sports a display and provides coaching support to help users understand the tracked data. It can be worn on the wrist, clipped to waist band or shoelaces, and features a four-month battery life. MSRP is set at $49.99, and as part of the deal, users will also get a free four-week Coaching Plan.

Said Coaching Plans give consumers the option of four goal-oriented 8-week fitness programs, providing step-by-step guidance in four key health areas – weight, diet, stress and sleep. These will be available for $19.99 per plan.

Finally, as Wireless Scale sends weight information to the nuyu app and updates it with every weigh-in. The scale features a tempered glass design, a patented disappearing LED display and 4-Load cell technology to accurately measure in 0.1 lb. increments. It will be available in black or white for $59.99.
