RunKeeper 3.5 for iPhone adds new social layer to the mix

RunKeeper 3.5 for iPhone introduced an additional social layer to the mix. The application got one feature only a web-based service had before – the social feed. From here, users can see how they and their friends are progressing over time. Activities, photos and goal milestones are all now available while on the go.

The second new feature comes in the form of ranking. Every time you press the stop button after an activity, you get to see how your run, walk or bike ride compares to your previous exercises. On top of that, RunKeeper Elite users will see how a particular workout stacks up against all others of a similar distance, and how their pace is trending over time.
