Jawbone announced a Special Edition Orange UP band in support of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, an organization dedicated to helping kids develop lifelong, healthy habits in an effort to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity.
The two parties have teamed up to encourage adults to make a difference in the lives of the young people they influence by being role models for healthy living, and to spark new conversations and progress around children’s health.
Under the scheme, for every Special Edition Orange UP band sold, Jawbone will make a donation of $20 to the Alliance for a Healthier Generation to support its school and community programs.
Founded by the American Heart Association and the Clinton Foundation as a catalyst for children’s health, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation aims to reduce the number of overweight and obese kids in today’s communities. It collaborates with and empowers influencers to transform the environments that can affect a child’s health: homes, schools, doctor’s offices and communities.
Jawbone’s Special Edition Orange UP band comes in three sizes (Small, Medium and Large) and is available for $129.99 at Jawbone.com.
