BluFit smart water bottle keeps track of user’s hydration

BluFit

The BluFit smart water bottle wants to make sure you take enough water throughout the day. Working with a companion mobile app — available for iOS and Android — it can help keep users hydrated, therefore helping fight off illness and improves concentration.

The magic happens with a help of integrated sensors that automatically record the time and amount of water consumed by the user. The application collates such user data as weight, age, temperature and even humidity to determine daily water intake levels. And if that’s not enough, there’s an option to adjust goals to suit each user’s health status.

Also, BluFit has LED lights built into the bottle to alert users when it’s time to take another sip of water, and the same information is routed through the companion app.

The BluFit smart water bottle is available in Ocean Blue and Charcoal Black, and will cost $59 when it goes on sale in Marc. In the meantime, it can be pre-ordered from a crowdfunding campaign at Indiegogo where the project authors are looking to raise $150,000 to turn BluFut into a real-world product.
