Alcatel unveiled what it calls the fitness-focused smartphone, OneTouch Pop Fit. The small device is designed to be wrapped around an arm, providing users with quick access to various fitness apps and services, as well as other, standard Android software.
The phone itself is rather mediocre, to say the least. It comes with, by today’s standards petite 2.8-inch 240×320 pixels screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 1,000mAh battery, and 16 or 32 GB of internal memory. Inside the box, fitness enthusiasts also get back covers in black, blue, pink, yellow and red, semi-transparent flip cover, as well as armband case and JBL earphones. All this will sell for some 89 EUR, making m-fitness tech affordable to more users than ever. Any takers?
