Validic is acquiring Infometers, a Silicon Valley-based technology company that connects remote healthcare monitoring devices to the healthcare system.
The acquisition also expands technical capabilities for future clinical and wellness device integrations, particularly those aimed at monitoring patients outside of the traditional clinical setting.With this acquisition, Validic’s digital health ecosystem increases 44% enabling Validic clients — such as hospitals, physicians, payers, pharma and wellness companies — greater access to key patient data from clinical devices. In addition, the acquisition also expands technical capabilities for future clinical and wellness device integrations, particularly those aimed at monitoring patients outside of the traditional clinical setting. Finally, as a result of this deal, Validic has established a Silicon Valley office in addition to its Durham headquarters.
