OMsignal has begun shipping the First Edition of its Biometric Smartwear to pre-order customers. As part of the release, the company is also launching the OMsignal iOS app to allow users to “take control of their health and fitness routines.”
The OMsignal Biometric Smartwear provides users with real-time data showing heart rate, breathing, activity levels, and wellness insights for a healthier life. The fibers in the shirt monitor body’s unique signals, send them to the module attached to the shirt, which then sends them to an iOS powered device where a dedicated app summarizes and visualizes all of this information.
Said application also saves the data so that users can analyze their performance, compare past sessions, track overall progress and reach their goals.
Outside of the gym setting, OMsignal will monitor such activities as steps taken, calories burned, and intensity of body movement. Together, these add up to a more complete picture of one’s health and fitness…
