Epic Safety unveils novel Personal Emergency Response System for seniors

Epic Safety, which makes products that allow seniors to live independently, has launched Epic Alert, a new line of Personal Emergency Response Systems also known as Medical Alert Systems.

The system consists of a base unit, automatic fall sensor, pendant, door contact, motion detector, and waterproof wall unit. Base units connect to an emergency monitoring station; wearable pendants offer 2-Way voice Communication and automatic fall detection, door contacts send notifications for opening/closing of door cabinets, while wall units include a one-touch button emergency help.

“Epic Safety’s goal is to empower seniors to age with grace and dignity, and I believe our products are a testament to our brand promise,” said Mohammad Zamanpour, founder and CEO of Vancouver, Canada-based Epic Safety.

Products in the Epic Alert range will be available for purchase through distribution channels in Canada and the U.S. during the first quarter of 2015.
