MOTi integrates fitness tracking with guided workouts

Taiwan-based J-MEX is looking to raise funds for MOTi, the fitness wearable with guided workouts and coaching programs.

Beyond basic step tracking, MOTi offers personalized workouts from fitness trainers who can tap into the open, MOTi Coach platform. The system works with an accompanying MOTi app which has the MOTivator feature that puts wearers in direct competition with each other. The hope is that this gamified approach will make more users exercise.

MOTi supports a number of different workouts, including sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, deadlifts, bench press, rolls, and more. For instance, users can earn points for working out and achieving fitness goals as well as motivating and pushing themselves to the limit. The app is iOS-compatible and provides all the usual tracking and monitoring capabilities, as well as allowing users to set up personal fitness plans and goals.

MOTi trainers on their end have an option to upload and share their programs inside the MOTi platform, become part of the community and share their expertise with others while increasing global exposure.

Then there’s MOTi LOG which tracks all user activities, whether it’s a workout session at the gym or just some push-ups or pull-ups at home. It knows what each user is doing and how many reps and sets they’ve done for each muscle group.

MOTi supports a number of different workouts, including sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, deadlifts, bench press, rolls, and more. The device tunes into built-in motion sensing tech to detect movement and force of motion.

J-MEX is currently running the MOTi crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo with $40,000 goal to reach by March 12th.
