MTBC launched iCheckIn, an enhanced patient check-in app for iOS and Android-based tablet devices, designed to help medical offices streamline the check-in process, while reducing their workload and improving patient satisfaction.

MTBC is a health IT company that offers cloud-based electronic health record (EHR), practice management (PM) and revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions to healthcare providers practicing in ambulatory care settings. Its integrated Software-as-a-Service (or SaaS) platform helps care providers customers increase revenues, streamline workflows and make better business and clinical decisions, while reducing administrative burdens and operating costs.

“We look forward to introducing additional innovative solutions during the first half of 2015, which will further enhance our fully integrated cloud-based solution,” said MTBC President Stephen Snyder.

By using iCheckIn, patients can quickly check-in on the day of the appointment; view and update demographic and insurance details; capture and upload photos and insurance card images; review and electronically pay co-insurance, co-payments and self-payment balances; and electronically sign consents and financial forms.

MTBC iCheckIn is immediately available for download from Apple’s iTunes and Google’s Play Store.
