Glow renames Ruby to Eve, adds new features

Eve by Glow

Glowing is renaming its recently released health and sex app for women, Ruby, to Eve.

The core of the app remains unchanged, enabling Ruby Eve users to track their sex and health information, and then see that data being used to recognize correlations and patterns across their cycles. The app has a fancy-lookin’ health feed that makes it easy to view current and upcoming cycles by swiping up or down, allowing for the detection of unexpected patterns. Plus, let’s not forget the Eve community, offering a place to ask any type of question and gather feedback and opinions from other women going through similar experiences.

All these features combined, the company claims, will lead to a better sense of self, better decision making, and fewer unplanned pregnancies.

Beyond the new name, Eve also got few new features — the application can now handle a total of 29 inputs, including the ability to log sex with non-male partners, rate the sex, and much more.

Eve remains free to download, though it’s still an iPhone exclusive app.
