HealthJibe is joining the mobile consumer health engagement market with a solution that integrates with existing HR and benefits systems as well as wellness programs. The company’s employer sponsored mobile platform is designed to be provided to employees as part of a health benefits plan, bringing health risk awareness, prevention, lifestyle habits, and cost transparency into the employee’s daily digital routine.
The platform features include:
- Health Risk Awareness – HealthJibe maintains a Metabolic Syndrome profile for the employee.
- Preventive Care – HealthJibe prepares a personalized preventive health care plan for each user based on age and gender, and consistent with the US Preventive Services Task Force.
- Lifestyle Habits – The platform works with popular health and fitness trackers to help users stay on top of key lifestyle habits including physical activity, weight and body composition, blood pressure, and blood sugar.
- Cost transparency – HealthJibe provides each user with insight into their overall risk profile based on ERGs derived from medical and pharmacy claims, and provides summaries of total health plan spending for medical and pharmacy claims during the current year.
- Behavioral Economics – By using HealthJibe, employees can earn rewards from participating partners and through reward payments offered by the employer when sponsoring HealthJibe.
The platform can be integrated with an API called HealthJibe Connect, helping organizations implement a comprehensive population health solution using existing benefit, wellness, data analytics and other HR systems and programs.
