Avizia’s SDK allows health systems to add telehealth to their apps

Avizia SDK

Telehealth solution provider Avizia launched a new SDK to enable health systems to integrate Avizia’s telehealth capabilities into their own mobile apps. The Avizia Virtual Care SDK adds new features to mobile apps while connecting to the Avizia ONE telehealth platform to effectively and efficiently scale and manage telehealth services.

“Our team developed the Virtual Care SDK with our customer’s needs in mind,” Avizia CEO and Co-Founder Mike Baird said in a statement. “It seamlessly integrates into our Avizia ONE SaaS platform to give patients access to their care team no matter where they are in the world — that means care when they need it most and not a moment later.”

The solution will allow app developers and IT teams to quickly integrate Avizia’s video capabilities and user interface into the apps they already have. In addition, care providers get to control and tailor the telehealth experience of their patients to meet their unique needs — from app design to features available.

Beyond “classic telehealth sessions,” care providers can use the Virtual Care SDK to enable telehealth over numerous use cases, such as surgical follow-ups, urgent care, medical management and lab results.

Avizia’s telehealth solutions are used by more than 400 healthcare systems throughout 37 countries, and eight of the top 10 hospital networks in the United States.
