Is it the end of an era of posture braces and shirts for correcting posture? Parents who constantly repeating themselves to their young ones to sit strait and stand up straight? Can one small device connected to lower back change everything? UpRight posture correcting device goal is to train users to stand straighter after only few weeks but even more important, to strengthen back muscle memory upright posture in order to prevent back pain. The “Passive Training On The Go Program” takes notes of the user’s position and can determine whether the user is standing, sitting, walking, or running. Data is sent to a connected app via Bluetooth, which offers users a training program based on their height, age, and other factors. The app provides users with real time feedback, review analytics about their posture, helps set goals, and connect with users social cycle.

UpRight is currently raising funds at Indiegogo, with the goal to reach $70,000. At the time I’m writing about it, it lacks less than $20K and has 38 days to go.
