ZEISS is looking to help people fight the so called Digital Eye Strain brought on by the modern age and devices like phones and tablets. To that end, the German company launched the ZEISS Digital Lenses that reduce fatigue caused by repeatedly switching between looking near and far.

According to ZEISS, the new product is specifically designed to meet the vision needs of people in their 30s and 40s who are experiencing near vision discomfort for the first time.
The effectiveness of ZEISS Digital Lenses has been proven in stress tests carried out with smartphone and tablet users – more than 90% of all respondents were satisfied with the reduction in the symptoms of strained or tired eyes by a factor of 4.
