A company called Good Night Charly is launching the same-named Bluetooth-enabled baby monitor and lullaby music box with accompanying iOS app. Featuring a hi-def wireless speaker, two-way microphone, and temperature and humidity monitoring – the first line of these monitors will come preloaded with handpicked lullabies performed by indie artists, though there’s also the option to stream music from iTunes and Spotify.
“I invented Good Night Charly for my daughter, Charlotte. The elements of a baby monitor that I trusted to use for my child didn’t exist yet, so I combined a sleek two-way speaker system, Bluetooth capability, and an iOS app to make a monitor that was intuitive for smartphone and tablet users,” said Peter Becke, Creator of Good Night Charly.

Sure, there are products that can connect to your phone, but none is as advanced as Good Night Charly.
The device comes with a “uniquely child and parent friendly” design, while its app is easy to use. Good Night Charly also has its own and flash memory, allowing parents to take it with them on the go, either in a stroller or on a long car ride.
Going forward, Good Night Charly will get its open API to enable developers to further expand the product’s capabilities.
Good Night Charly is currently raising funds at Indiegogo, looking to hit $100,000 by September 28th. A single unit goes for $99, and backers can expect to receive their units by February 2015.
